Doug Holte

President, Office Properties

Doug Holte is President of Irvine Company Office Properties. In his position, Mr. Holte is responsible for the overall performance of the Irvine Company’s portfolio of office properties in Orange County, San Diego, West Los Angeles and Silicon Valley. These responsibilities include supervision of leasing, operations, marketing, finance, development and acquisition of office properties.

Mr. Holte joined Irvine Company in 2009 after a 22-year career as a principal in development, investment and asset management with the international real estate firm Hines. During his Hines career, Mr. Holte was responsible for more than 15 million square feet of office development, property acquisition and third-party client service assignments throughout the West Coast and Southeast regional markets.

Mr. Holte is an Advisory Board member for the UCI Center for Real Estate, on the Advisory Council for the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate, and a Board member for the Orange County Community Foundation.

Mr. Holte is a graduate of University of Southern California and received his Masters of Business Administration from Harvard University.

Steve Case

Executive Vice President, Office Properties

Steven M. Case is Executive Vice President of Irvine Company Office Properties. Mr. Case is responsible for leasing and marketing activities for Irvine Company’s portfolio of office properties in Orange County, Silicon Valley, West Los Angeles, and San Diego. This includes the 5,000-acre Irvine Spectrum, Newport Center, Jamboree Center, and University Research Park, all in Orange County. Other properties include McCarthy Center in Silicon Valley, The Plaza and One America Plaza in San Diego, and Fox Plaza and Westwood Gateway in West Los Angeles. He has been involved in over 36 million square feet of leases while at the Irvine Company.

Prior to joining Irvine Company, Steve Case was the Senior Managing Director, Partner of CB Richard Ellis, responsible for the Orange County region. During his 21 years with CB Richard Ellis, Steve was a top broker in Orange County and held various leadership positions with the company.

As an active participant in the community, Mr. Case is on the Board of Directors of Kidworks and is a founding board member of Building Block Foundation, an organization of Orange County’s real estate leaders, which supports under privileged kids. Steve is also active in the United Way.

Steve received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and marketing from the University of Southern California. He also completed executive education programs at Stanford University and Northwestern’s School of Management.

Mike Bennett

Senior Vice President, Operations

Michael Bennett has over twenty four years of commercial real estate experience in Office, Industrial and Retail product encompassing disciplines of development, acquisition and leasing with a broad emphasis on operations.  He currently oversees  operations for both Office and Campus Office portfolios totaling approximately 35 million square feet.  In addition, he is responsible for oversight of portfolio retail amenities, asset management of parking operations and leading portfolio acquisition due diligence.

Prior to joining the Irvine Company, Mr. Bennett was Managing Director for Insignia/ESG.  He was responsible for all operations for the Orange County and San Diego Regions totaling 28 million square feet.  In addition, he served as Vice President for Insignia’s Property Consulting entity, which serviced over 50 million square feet of horticulture, roofing and mechanical engineering.  Before becoming Managing Director he served as Director of Property Management for Irvine Company’s industrial portfolio comprising 14 million square feet throughout California.  His contributions included performing as Account Executive for The Irvine Company while expanding this portfolio from 5 million square feet in 1996 to 14 million square feet within five years.  Mr. Bennett developed strong expertise in new development  review and transition, acquisition due diligence, customer programs and employee training/leadership development.

Before joining Insignia/ESG, Mr. Bennett worked for Prentiss Properties and Parco Development where he performed roles in acquisition, disposition, leasing, property management and development.  This diverse experience provides a unique foundation to anticipate customer needs, resolve issues and maximize asset value.

Mr. Bennett is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton with emphasis in Business, Finance and holds a California Real Estate Broker’s License. He has held several important industry leadership positions, including, President, Irvine Spectrumotion Board of Directors, BOMA Orange County Board of Directors and BOMA San Diego Advisory Board.
