Happy hour drinks, now on tap at the workplace

Self-pour beer stations and wine bars are bringing happy hour to the workplace, and the benefits of lingering over a brew can boost bottom lines. Connecting with coworkers in a casual environment facilitates free-flowing idea exchange, enhances team efficacy and strengthens the social ties that are key to employee retention.

“With the rise of remote work and flex schedules, after-hours socializing is key to building camaraderie, but actually getting the team together can be a logistical challenge,” says Chris Dey, Director of Retail Amenities at Irvine Company Office.
