When Alteryx started their new global headquarters search in 2019, the company sought a space that would be a source of excitement and daily inspiration. One pandemic and several years later, it’s clear they made the right choice at Spectrum Terrace.

The Alteryx HQ at Spectrum Terrace meets a range of employee needs throughout the workday, from open collaboration space to snack stations to dedicated comfort rooms for nursing mothers. The increase in personalized amenities is a significant change from the company’s former space.

The Alteryx Experience Center is the centerpiece of the building and is designed to provide an immersive and engaging experience for customers and partners. Each visitor has an opportunity to see how the Alteryx Analytics platform can help them transform their data into insights and make better business decisions.

In addition to their private building, Alteryx employees enjoy access to the campus’s dedicated amenity hubs, including Terrace Kitchen + Bar, which opens onto an expansive outdoor lounge and workspace. The fitness center is popular with employees, and teams can collaborate by the Olympic-length Terrace Pool with meeting-ready cabanas.

As employees increase their in-person office time, this wealth of amenities make the workplace much more than an office. It’s a place where the barista knows an employee’s coffee order, employees can go for a run or practice yoga on their lunch break, and teams gather over drinks to catch the big game at happy hour.

Recently, Spectrum Terrace hosted Alteryx’s global engineering event, bringing 500+ employees from offices around the world together for the first time.

“Our HQ really came alive. It was exciting to look down through our central oculus and see everyone together. The energy brought a lot of other employees back into the workplace and helped people remember just how productive we can be when we’re collaborating in person together.”

With the business having recently grown around 30 percent year-over-year, Anderson is looking forward to expanding Alteryx’s presence at Spectrum Terrace and hosting future global events here.
