IRVINE, Calif. (October 29, 2019) – Irvine Company today announced that Alteryx Inc. (NYSE: AYX), a leader in revolutionizing business and unlocking value through data science and analytics, will occupy a building and a half at Spectrum Terrace, Irvine Company’s new ultra-modern workplace community in Irvine Spectrum.
Irvine Company also announced that it is accelerating construction of Spectrum Terrace’s 340,000 square-foot second phase, already in high demand. The first phase is now fully leased.
“Our mission is to help our customers recruit and retain top talent by offering world-class workplaces in highly-desired locations with unique services and amenities that connect teams and support seamless business operations,” said Tom Greubel, vice president, Irvine Company. “Adding a forward-thinking technology company like Alteryx further validates Spectrum Terrace’s growing reputation as the ultimate business address.”
Alteryx is leasing 183,000 square feet and is expected to move from the John Wayne Airport area in fall of 2020. The company will occupy the entire building at 17200 Laguna Canyon Drive and part of the 1st floor and all of the 3rd and 4th floors at 17100 Laguna Canyon.
The company has 18 offices in 12 countries and counts among its customers some of the world’s best-known companies, including Unilever, Vodafone, Audi, Hyatt and Dell.
Located at the intersection of the 405, 5 and 133 freeways, Spectrum Terrace will offer one million square feet of workspace throughout nine four-story buildings at buildout.
The second phase of Spectrum Terrace includes Apex, a free-standing version of Irvine Company’s distinctive meeting and event venue where customers can host large training sessions, meetings, presentations or special events. Lined by floor-to-ceiling 40’ glass column-to-column windows and doors, the Meeting and Events Center allows for indoor/outdoor connectivity complete with large screen televisions, WiFi, surrounding audio and A/V capabilities. Customers will also have the option for catering through Terrace Kitchen + bar as an added convenience and luxury onsite food amenity to meet and exceed business needs.
The campus’ architecture and building connectivity was inspired by Silicon Valley’s most innovative workplace communities, and perfected for the Southern California lifestyle. With onsite lifestyle amenities and conveniences situated throughout, Spectrum Terrace includes open space the equivalent of nearly five football fields featuring The Commons, an outdoor gathering area with shaded workspaces, as well as KINETIC™ luxe fitness center, a unique, integrated approach to workplace wellness. Customers have access to Terrace Kitchen + bar, featuring an eclectic menu, wine and craft beer taps, and coffee bar. Incorporated into Terrace Kitchen + bar, The Lab is an incubator program that will provide chefs and restaurateurs of up-and-coming restaurants an opportunity to showcase their food concept, while simultaneously building their business.
Spectrum Terrace’s buildings are arranged in three terraced office “neighborhoods” that are adjacent to thousands of acres of easily accessible coastal wilderness that has been permanently preserved as part of Irvine’s master plan. To complement the campus’ wilderness-adjacent connectivity and enhance the overall workday experience, more than 2,200 trees have been planted throughout.
The campus also features a 1.5 mile-long jogging and walking trail to make it convenient for employees to enjoy some fresh air and exercise. The trails connect to the Quail Hill open space, which is part of an even larger network of preserved land that journeys all the way to the coast.
