Roger DeWames is President of Irvine Company Office Properties. He is responsible for the leadership and performance of the division, including a 54+ million square foot, fully-integrated customer-centric platform of asset management, development, leasing, finance and investments, operations, marketing, and technology enablement.
Roger previously led development, acquisition and reinvestment activities for the company’s office and self storage portfolios, including planning and development of over 8 million square feet of ground-up office projects.
Prior to joining Irvine Company, Roger led development, acquisitions and investment in the Orange County office of Hines, including ground-up development and acquisitions of multiple product types.
Roger holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor’s of Science in biology from the University of California, San Diego. He previously served as a Board member of NAIOP.
Michael Bennett oversees operations for Irvine Company’s 54+ million SF Office portfolio, including oversight of engineering, customer experience, retail amenities, asset management of parking operations, and leading portfolio acquisition due diligence.
Mike’s 30 years of commercial real estate experience spans office, industrial and retail products, including serving as Managing Director for Insignia/ESG, where he oversaw 23 million SF in Orange County and San Diego.
Mike is a graduate of California State University-Fullerton and the Wharton School Executive Leadership Program and holds a California Real Estate Broker’s License. His numerous industry leadership positions include prior President, Irvine Spectrumotion Board of Directors and BOMA San Diego Advisory Board and currently BOMA Orange County Board of Directors.
Outside of work, Mike has a passion for action sports and related community service groups that support wounded veterans and special needs children.
Steve Case is responsible for the leasing strategy for Irvine Company’s 54+ million SF Office portfolio, including strategic customer relations and the company’s Flex Workspace+ platform. During his 17-year tenure, the company completed 160+ million square feet of leasing totaling $30 billion
Prior to joining Irvine Company, Steve was a Senior Managing Director of CBRE, responsible for the Orange County region including leasing, operations, finance, marketing and appraisal services.
Steve holds a BS in Finance and Marketing from the University of Southern California and completed executive education programs at Stanford University and Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. He has been an Advisory Board Member for the UCI Center for Real Estate, on the Executive Council of the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate and is on the Advisory Committee for Hoag Hospital.
Beyond the real estate industry, Steve actively supports charitable organizations focused on education and health and wellness.

Beejal Northrup leads the financial planning, investment underwriting, leasing analytics, portfolio analytics and credit review functions for Irvine Company’s Office division.
Prior to joining Irvine Company in 2020, Beejal worked for 20+ years in financial roles at various companies, including 11 years at Healthpeak Properties, a $20 billion publicly traded healthcare REIT, where she most recently served as Senior Vice President of Finance for the Medical Office division.
Beejal received her MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and her BS in Physiological Science with a minor in Accounting from UCLA.
In her spare time, Beejal enjoys traveling with her husband and three children, trying unique restaurants, playing ping pong and pickleball, and watching creative movies.
Derek Landry oversees Asset Management for Irvine Company’s 54+ million SF Office and Self Storage portfolio, bringing a strategic, holistic, and fully integrated approach to long-term value creation.
Over his 25+ year career, Derek’s investment management experience includes various senior roles at Manulife Investment Management, CBRE Investment Management, and TIAA/Nuveen Real Estate where he was responsible for asset and portfolio management, acquisitions, and development of office, industrial, multi-family, retail, self storage and mixed use assets.
Derek holds a BS in Environmental Studies and Sustainable Urbanism from Rollins College where he played Division II soccer.
Outside of work, Derek is a father of two and an accomplished endurance athlete who has completed six Ironman races, the Leadville Trail 100 MTB race and the Boston Marathon.
Jason Grovert oversees Technology Enablement for Irvine Company’s Office division, continuously improving performance and experiences through efficient use of technology.
Jason has more than 25 years of experience in technology leadership, most recently as the Chief Information Officer at Steadfast Living, a nationwide multifamily REIT in Irvine. At Steadfast, he helped lead the business towards a tech-forward strategy that accelerated their business and digital transformation. Prior to Steadfast Living, he was Chief Technology Officer at Ryland Homes, a nationwide single family home builder leading their technology vision and strategy.
Originally from Phoenix, Jason holds a Master of Science in Information Management from Arizona State University and is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA.
He and his wife have two children and enjoy volleyball, electronic music and of course computers and new technology.
