(September 28, 2023) — Irvine Company today announced new leases at One North Wacker totaling more than 100,000 square feet and the upcoming transformation of the dedicated amenities floor. The leases – which make the building nearly 90% leased – dovetail with the company’s ongoing $10 million reinvestment plan for One North Wacker, further elevating the iconic Chicago high-rise and highlighting Irvine Company’s forward-looking mindset.

Irvine Company has seen strong leasing activity at One North Wacker over the past year. The customers include national law firm BakerHostetler, cloud communications leader Sinch, and Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Company, among others.

With a sophisticated stainless steel and glass design with sweeping views, One North Wacker is one of the most prestigious addresses in Chicago. With this significant reinvestment, Irvine Company has enhanced the expansive lobby, One North Kitchen & Bar and opened Kinsley by Fairgrounds, a new inviting culinary destination for both workplace customers and those who live and work in The Loop.


Plans are underway for additional enhancements on the 17,000-square-foot amenity floor, including a reimagining of the 7,100-square-foot customer lounge with a new coffee bar, a transformed 4,600-square-foot conferencing venue, and an expansion of the 5,300-square-foot private fitness center with locker rooms. Additional onsite conveniences include a sundry shop, messenger services, auto detailing, valet services, shoeshine and notary public.  One North Wacker’s central location provides convenient access to CTA bus and “L” Systems, as well as Union Station and Ogilvie Transportation Center, plus a dedicated underground parking garage. 

Private, move-in ready premium workspaces part of Irvine Company’s Flex+ program are available at One North Wacker and provide customers with HQ-quality design, a frictionless leasing experience and dedicated workplace strategists.

Irvine Company’s portfolio in Chicago also includes 71 South Wacker and 300 North LaSalle, where the company announced a nearly $30 million reinvestment plan earlier this year and recently signed leases totaling more than 175,000 square feet.
