The Irvine Company has acquired a two-building Del Mar Heights office complex for an undisclosed price.
The four-story, Gateway at Torrey Hills buildings at 3570 and 3580 Carmel Mountain Road have a combined space of 198,000 square feet.
Tenants include BDO USA, MINDBODY, Inc., and the law firm of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo.
The buildings feature stone and glass facades, flexible floor plates, and on-site parking.
Amenities include a fitness center with a locker room and showers, art installations, multiple patios, and outdoor workspaces.
Rick Reeder and Brad Tecca of Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets group based in San Diego represented the seller, an institutional real estate investor whose name was not disclosed.
“Our decision to acquire Gateway at Torrey Hills is another sign of our long-term faith in San Diego as a nationally recognized center of innovation,” said Doug Holte, Irvine Company Office Properties president. “Irvine Company’s focus on delivering vibrant workplace communities aligns well with Del Mar Heights’ remarkable combination of attractive housing, recreation, retail, transportation, as well as access to workforce talent and leading businesses.”
