IRVINE, Calif. (January 30, 2024) — Irvine Company announced today the opening of its latest dining amenity, Greenhouse Coffee Bar & Eatery, at Pacific Arts Plaza, a centrally located workplace in Costa Mesa’s arts and culture district. The new café includes a variety of healthy menu options and is open to both Irvine Company customers and the public.

Located across the street from South Coast Plaza, Greenhouse is an eatery with a coffee and tea bar that features MoonGoat – a local coffee business that has become Orange County’s top roaster.  Housed in a beautiful, light-filled space with an outdoor patio, the new restaurant offers customers healthy ingredients across a variety of cuisines ranging from Asian to Mediterranean to Latin and more. With delectable dishes crafted for breakfast and lunch, including fresh salads, bowls and sandwiches, Greenhouse elevates the dining experience for office goers and visitors alike.

“Greenhouse’s menu echoes contemporary trends in health-conscious cooking and an industry wide movement toward farm-to-table ingredients sourcing – and we are fortunate to live in Southern California where high-quality produce is so readily available,” said Greenhouse Head Chef Connor Harold. “After working at other Irvine Company restaurant locations in Los Angeles and Orange County, I am excited by the opportunity to lay the foundation for continued success here at Pacific Arts Plaza and provide a memorable experience for our customers.”

Healthy eating does not just refer to physical health, but mental as well. Taking meal breaks has been shown to improve well-being and reduce stress for 40% of employees and dining together boosts team bonding and productivity. According to a recent survey by Wakefield Research, 76% of Southern California office professionals say that food options like on-site dining, coffee shops, bar area or snack bar for socializing would encourage them to work in an office.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Greenhouse and MoonGoat to Pacific Arts Plaza. The addition of this versatile eatery and coffee bar not only enhances the culinary offerings within our building but also creates a dynamic hub for socializing and community building,” said Roger DeWames, President of Irvine Company Office. “Greenhouse’s commitment to culinary excellence aligns seamlessly with Irvine Company’s vision to provide best-in-class amenities for our customers and be partners in their success.”

Greenhouse is open Mondays and Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Tuesdays through Thursdays from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, please visit: greenhousecostamesa.com
