Workplaces that offer connectivity and convenience are in high demand, say Orange County Brokers of the Quarter from JLL, Dillon Knight, associate, and Curtis Ellmore, managing director.

The flight to experiential workplaces is a trend they are seeing across the Orange County market, they say. Ease of access, high visibility, and experience-driven amenities are what clients are looking for now to help get employees excited about coming back into the office.

That return to office is crucial, says Ellmore, for a number of reasons. “We hear our clients saying they don’t have a culture without an office,” he says. “When you go into the office, that’s where the culture is developed,” adds Knight.

Knight and Ellmore are being honored as Brokers of the Quarter for a recent deal at both Discovery Park and Laguna Canyon, for a combined 185,000 SF new lease. Both Irvine Spectrum workplace locations offer the kinds of amenities that are in high demand right now, such as WiFi-enabled outdoor meeting spaces, ample free parking, and proximity to top retail, dining and entertainment options.

Amenities like these, say, Ellmore and Knight, will continue to be the differentiator in acquiring and retaining top talent. Clients are now looking for experiential workplaces, where employees can get more out of coming to work than they would if they were working remotely. Which is just one reason why they found the perfect home for their client at Discovery Park and Laguna Canyon. “Irvine Company understands what their clients want, and they do a really great job at responding to those market trends,” says Ellmore.

“When we place a client in one of these workplaces,” adds Knight, “we know that they’re going to be well taken care of.”
We thank you for your continued partnership, Curtis and Dillon. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor.
