Irvine Co. purchased the 19-building Alton Plaza as part of its effort to enhance the Irvine Spectrum area. The developer plans to revitalize the 216,000-square-foot campus on Alton Parkway near the Irvine train station. When completed, roughly 700 employees from 25 companies will have modern indoor and outdoor work spaces designed to foster innovation and collaboration, the Irvine Co. stated in a release.

Irvine Company acquired the 19-building Alton Plaza in Irvine Spectrum from AEW Capital Management for an undisclosed amount. The 216,000-square-foot campus is located at 15205-15295 Alton Parkway near the Irvine, CA train station.
The property is currently 95 percent leased to technology, medical device, research and development, real estate and engineering companies.
